1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, you must not use this website.

Your use of this website is also subject to our Privacy Policy.

2. Company Structure and Entity Clarification

This website is operated by Interlock Industries (Midwest) Inc., a Minnesota corporation registered to do business in Wisconsin with the Department of Financial Institutions (entity I020482, qualified 13 June 2002, as Wis. Stat. § 180.1501 requires). We have no office in Wisconsin. Our office is at 2355 Fairview Ave N, Roseville, MN 55113, and our installation crews are dispatched to south-eastern Wisconsin from there. Wisconsin law treats a business operating in a region from outside it as deceptive if its use of the region's name creates the impression that it is located there (Wis. Stat. § 100.18(10r)), so we say it plainly.

Wisconsin issues no roofing or general-contractor license, and we never claim to be a licensed Wisconsin roofer. The credential a building permit on a one- or two-family dwelling actually requires is Dwelling Contractor certification, and we hold it: Interlock Industries (Midwest) Inc., Dwelling Contractor certification 2122-DCFR, with Dwelling Contractor Qualifier 031800075-DCQ held by Allen L Gessell (Wis. Stat. § 101.654; Wis. Admin. Code SPS 305.31 and 305.315). Both are active and can be checked on the DSPS credential lookup at https://license.wi.gov. Our Minnesota License RR431129 and Illinois License 104.013389 are separate credentials and are not Wisconsin credentials.

Interlock Roofing Ltd. (Canada) manufactures the Interlock® system; I.E.L. Manufacturing Ltd. owns the Interlock® trademarks. "Interlock," "we," "our" and "us" mean Interlock Industries (Midwest) Inc. unless otherwise specified.

You are responsible for the accuracy of any information you submit.

Reviews and feedback. Nothing in these Terms, in any contract, or in any form we use restricts your right to post an honest review or complaint about Interlock Industries (Midwest) Inc. anywhere, or imposes a penalty for doing so. Under the Consumer Review Fairness Act (15 U.S.C. § 45b) such a term would be void, and we do not use one. When you send us feedback you grant us only a non-exclusive license to use it; you keep ownership. Our practices are set out in the Customer Review & Feedback Policy.

Wisconsin: A Wisconsin home-improvement contract that calls for any payment before the work is complete, or that we initiate at your home or by phone or mail, is in writing and states our name and address and our representative's; the work and principal materials; the total price including all finance charges; start and completion dates; any mortgage or security interest; every warranty; and any other document forming part of the contract (Wis. Admin. Code ATCP 110.05(2)). You receive a copy before work starts or any payment is taken (ATCP 110.05(3)). Before you sign we tell you which building permits are required, and whoever pulls the permit must hold the DSPS Dwelling Contractor certification (ATCP 110.03; Wis. Stat. § 101.654). You receive the separate Notice of Consumer's Right to Receive Lien Waivers before signing (ATCP 110.025) and the construction-lien notice in the contract (Wis. Stat. § 779.02(2)(a)); on request we provide lien waivers from every subcontractor and supplier. Every warranty is in writing with its conditions, exclusions, duration and claim-response time (ATCP 110.04). Liquidated damages cannot exceed 10 percent of the price, and the contract cannot be assigned without your written consent (ATCP 110.05(5), (7)).

6. Communications and Electronic Consent

By using this website or submitting your information, you consent to receive communications via:

  • Phone
  • SMS/text message
  • Email

7. No Guarantee of Results

Interlock does not guarantee:

  • Project outcomes
  • Energy savings
  • Cost savings
  • Performance under all conditions

Results vary based on installation, environment, and other factors.

8. No Professional Advice

You should consult qualified professionals before making decisions regarding roofing products or services.

9. Intellectual Property

Refer to our Image & Media Licensing Policy for additional details.

10. No Warranties

This website and its content are provided “as is” and “as available.”

Interlock makes no warranties, express or implied, including:

  • Accuracy or completeness
  • Reliability or availability
  • Fitness for a particular purpose

Product warranty (Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, 15 U.S.C. §§ 2301–2312). The "as is" statement above concerns this website only. The Interlock® roofing system carries a written Guardian Lifetime Limited Material Warranty issued by its manufacturer, Interlock Roofing Ltd. Federal law entitles you to read the full warranty before you buy (16 CFR § 702.3): the complete text is at /legal/guardian-lifetime-limited-material-warranty/, and a free printed copy is available from policies@interlockgroup.com or 1-866-733-5811.

In our advertising, "lifetime" means the period during which the original purchaser owns the home on which the system is installed (16 CFR § 239.4). The warranty is limited; it covers the roofing materials and finish, not workmanship, and may be transferred once to a later owner on the terms it states. Any workmanship warranty is given separately, in writing, by the contractor who performs your work. The warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.

Stat. § 100.20(5)); a consumer who suffers pecuniary loss because of a violation of § 100.18 may recover that loss plus costs and reasonable attorney fees (Wis. Stat. § 100.18(11)(b)2).

If unresolved, disputes shall be brought before a court of competent jurisdiction located in the State of Wisconsin, unless otherwise required by applicable law. These Terms do not require arbitration and do not waive your right to a jury trial. Nothing in this section prevents you from filing a complaint with the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection, Consumer Protection Bureau, 1-800-422-7128, https://datcp.wi.gov, or from bringing the private actions Wisconsin law provides (Wis. Stat. §§ 100.18(11)(b)2 and 100.20(5)).
